This movie is very beautiful. 'Devdas' premiered at 2002 Cannes Film Festival on 23 May 2002 and released worldwide on 12 June that year. It was the most expensive Indian film ever made at the time. Sanjaya Leela Bhansali is the director and Bharat Shah is the producer of this movie. Ismail Darbar and Monty Sharma are the music directors of the film and singers are Shreya Ghoshal, K.K. , Jaspinder Narula, Udit Narayan, Vinod Rathod, Kavita Krishnamurthy etc.
Shah Rukh Khan has played the role of Devdas.
Madhuri Dixit has played role of 'Chandramukhi'.
